A seedling variety of citrus introduced from China, it is a representative Japanese mandarin orange. It is also economically important. It is 3-4m tall. The flowers are white. The fruit is oblate, weighs about 200g, is yellowish orange in color, and the skin peels easily. The flesh is soft. It ripens in November-December. The main growing areas are Ehime, Shizuoka, Wakayama, Saga, etc. One variety is Wase Unshu.
