Jotunheim Mountains - Jotunheimen

Japanese: ヨートゥンハイム山地 - ヨートゥンハイムさんち（英語表記）Jotunheimen

It is located in the central alpine zone of southern Norway, at approximately 61°-62°N and 7°-9°E, with the water systems of Sognefjorden and Nordfjorden carving a deep U-shaped valley from the west, and the upper reaches of the Gubrandsdalsbrücken to the east. The Jostedalsbrücken is located to the west of this mountain range. This mountain range is composed of Caledonian orogenic thrust metamorphic rocks from about 400 million years ago. It shows a remarkable glacial topography, carved by valley glaciers during the glacial period, and several small glaciers still remain, but these disappeared once during the postglacial period and then formed again.
