Ureine (English spelling)

Japanese: ウレイン（英語表記）ureine

A general term for compounds in which the hydrogen atom of urea (H ₂ N) ₂ CO is replaced with an alkyl group R, also known as alkylurea. When a primary or secondary amine is reacted with isocyanic acid H-N=C=O, isocyanate R-N=C=O, or carbamoyl chloride R ₂ NCOCl, (H ₂ N)(RNH)CO, (RNH) ₂ CO, or (RNH)(R ₂ N)CO is obtained, and when a primary or secondary amine is reacted with phosgene COCl ₂ , (RNH) ₂ CO or (R ₂ N) ₂ CO is obtained.

尿素(H₂N)₂COの水素原子をアルキル基Rで置換した化合物の総称で，アルキル尿素alkylureaともいう。イソシアン酸H－N＝C＝O，イソシアナートR－N＝C＝Oあるいは塩化カルバモイルR₂NCOClに第一または第二アミンを作用させれば，(H₂N)(RNH)CO，(RNH)₂CO，(RNH)(R₂N)COが得られ，ホスゲンCOCl₂に第一あるいは第二アミンを作用させれば，(RNH)₂COあるいは(R₂N)₂COが得られる。
