Uradome Coast - Uradome Coast

Japanese: 浦富海岸 - うらどめかいがん

A general term for the coast of Iwami Town, in the northeastern tip of Tottori Prefecture. The coastline stretches about 15km from east to west, stretching from Kugamimisaki, the land cape on the border with Hyogo Prefecture, in the east to Shichiyama in the west. The coastal topography is rich in variety, with ria coasts, sea cliffs, and sea caves, and rare coastal beauty can be seen, such as Sengan Matsushima, Natanejima, Ryujin Cave, and Kamagaiso, and it has been designated as a national place of scenic beauty and natural monument. The geology is also complex, with both cold and warm climate vegetation coexisting. It belongs to San'in Kaigan National Park.

鳥取県北東端，岩美町の海岸の総称。海岸線は東西約 15kmで，東は兵庫県境の陸上岬（くがみみさき），西は駟馳山（しちやま）までをさす。リアス海岸と海食崖，海食洞など海岸地形は変化に富み，千貫松島，菜種島，竜神洞，鴨ヶ磯など珍しい海岸美が見られ，国の名勝・天然記念物に指定されている。地質も複雑で寒地系，暖地系植生が共存。山陰海岸国立公園に属する。
