Medical juvenile detention center - Iryo Shounenin

A type of juvenile prison established to eliminate the negative effects of mixed detention. It accommodates those aged 14 to 26 who have significant mental or physical disorders. It places emphasis on corrective education and treatment of mental and physical disabilities to help inmates readjust to social life, and provides the same special education as schools for the disabled.
