A town in Kabato County, Hokkaido. The main settlement is on the west bank of the Ishikari River, and the Sassho Line runs through it. There are swamps scattered throughout the area, and the town produces rice, fruit trees, horticulture, melons, persimmons, asparagus, and other crops. The area is 101.83 km2 .
