Breath of the wind (English spelling) gustiness

Wind does not blow at a constant speed, but constantly changes in strength. This is called the breath of the wind, as it feels as if the wind is breathing. The difference between the maximum and minimum values of the fluctuating wind speed is called the magnitude of the breath of the wind. Wind speed turbulence is generally greater near the ground and smaller in the free atmosphere. It is also related to the stability of the atmosphere, and is greater during the day than at night.
