A breed of sheep. A typical wool breed. The Spanish Merino is native to Spain and is the basis for other Merino breeds. Other famous breeds include the American Rambouillet and the Australian Merino. The former produces 6.5-11 kg of wool for males and 4.5-8 kg for females.
