Japanese: ムサーワート党 - ムサーワートとう（英語表記）Musavat

An Azerbaijani nationalist party founded in 1911 in Baku, Russian Empire. Musavat means "equality." Before 1917, it was called "Muslim Democratic Party Musavat" and was a group centered on a Pan-Islamic journal rather than an organized political party. After the February Revolution in 1917, it decided to merge with the "Turkish Federalist Party" (founded in March 1917), and at its first congress in October, it took the name "Turkish Federalist Democratic Party Musavat."

1911年ロシア帝国のバクーで結成されたアゼルバイジャン民族主義政党。ムサーワートとは〈平等〉の意。1917年以前は〈ムスリム民主党ムサーワート〉といい，実質的には組織政党というより，パン･イスラム主義を唱える機関紙を中心としたグループであった。17年ロシアの二月革命後，〈トルコ族連邦主義者党〉(1917年3月結成)との合同を決定，10月の第1回大会で〈トルコ族連邦主義者民主党ムサーワート〉を名のる。
