A general term for flies that belong to the Diptera family of Agromyzidae and whose larvae burrow into wheat leaves to feed. Most are around 2 mm in length. Agromyza yanonis , A. albipennis , Phytomyza nigra , Cerodonta denticornis , and Phytobia lateralis are some of the flies that invade wheat. 双翅目ハモグリバエ科に属する昆虫のうち,幼虫がムギの葉に潜り食害するハエの総称。体長2mm前後のものが多い。ヤノハモグリバエAgromyza yanonis,ムギクロハモグリバエA.albipennis,ムギスジハモグリバエPhytomyza nigra,ムギキイロハモグリバエCerodonta denticornis,ムギキベリハモグリバエPhytobia lateralisなどがムギに潜入する。
