(Also called "Mingojisso") A commentary on "The Tale of Genji." Fifty-five volumes. Written by Nakanoin Michikatsu. Completed in 1598 ( Keicho 3 ). Commissioned by Hosokawa Yusai, this book was compiled with the aim of compiling various commentaries. In addition to the old commentaries on "Kakaisho," "Kacho Yojo," and "Norokasho," it adds his teacher's and Michikatsu's own theories. Michikatsu's own theories are generally moderate and reasonable. (「みんごうじっそ」とも) 「源氏物語」の注釈書。五五巻。中院通勝著。慶長三年(一五九八)成立。細川幽斎の委託を受け、諸注集成を目的に作られた書。「河海抄」「花鳥余情」「弄花抄」などの旧注に、師説・自説を加える。通勝の自説は大体穏健妥当である。
