Pleasant fungus beetle

...The terminal segment of the abdomen tapers backward and ends in a pair of small projections. There are more than 2,000 species of pleasing fungus beetles known worldwide, and about 100 species known from Japan. Adults are ovate to oblong, with three broad segments at the end of the antennae.
