Triangulum Australe (Southern Triangle)

Japanese: みなみのさんかく座(南三角座) - みなみのさんかくざ（英語表記）Triangulum Australe

Its abbreviation is TrA. It is a small constellation located southeast of Centaurus. It is one of the twelve southern constellations newly established by Johann Bayer (1572-1625). Alpha (magnitude 1.9), Beta (magnitude 2.8), and Gamma (magnitude 2.9) form an isosceles triangle, but it cannot be seen in Japan. It is named after Triangulum in the northern sky, which forms a right-angled triangle. Its approximate position is 15h40m in right ascension and -65° in declination.
