Its abbreviation is CrA. It is a southern constellation that follows to the south of Sagittarius, and consists of six 4th magnitude stars that form a large arc, but it is difficult to see in Japan because it is close to the horizon and low. It is named after the constellation Corona Borealis in the northern sky. Its approximate position is 18h30m in right ascension and -41° in declination. It reaches its culmination at 8pm in late August. [Ishida Goro] Source: Heibonsha World Encyclopedia, 2nd Edition Information |
