Japanese: 三ヶ日[町] - みっかび

A former town in Inasa County in the southwest of Shizuoka Prefecture. It occupies Lake Inohana, a tributary of Lake Hamana, and the mountainous area behind it, and is served by the Tenryu Hamanako Railway and the Tomei Expressway. It is one of the centers of mandarin orange cultivation in the prefecture. It is known as the place where the Mikkabi people were excavated, and is home to Daifukuji Temple, the birthplace of Hama-natto. In July 2005, it was incorporated into Hamamatsu City along with Tenryu City, Hamakita City, Haruno Town in Shuchi County, Sakuma Town in Iwata County, Misakubo Town, Tatsuyama Village, Maisaka Town in Hamana County, Yutome Town, Hosoe Town in Inasa County, and Inasa Town. ^{75.65 km2} . 静岡県南西部，引佐(いなさ)郡の旧町。浜名湖の支湖猪鼻(いのはな)湖と背後の山地を占め，天竜浜名湖鉄道，東名高速道路が通じる。県のミカン栽培の一中心。三ヶ日人が発掘されたことで知られ，浜納豆の元祖大福寺がある。2005年７月天竜市，浜北市，周智郡春野町，磐田郡佐久間町，水窪町，龍山村，浜名郡舞阪町，雄踏町，引佐郡細江町，引佐町と浜松市へ編入。75.65km²。１万6015人（2003）。
