Battle of Mikatagahara

A battle between Takeda Shingen and Tokugawa Ieyasu that took place at Mikatahara in Totomi in 1573. Shingen, who planned to go to Kyoto, first invaded Totomi, and instead of attacking the fortified Hamamatsu Castle, he lured Ieyasu's army and Oda Nobunaga's reinforcements to Mikatahara, where he won a great victory. 1573年遠江(とおとうみ)の三方原で行われた武田信玄と徳川家康との戦い。上洛を企てた信玄はまず遠江に侵入，堅固な浜松城を攻めずに家康軍と織田信長の援軍を三方原に誘いだして戦い大勝利をおさめた。家康は浜松城に敗走。
