A commentary on the Man'yoshu from the late Edo period. 20 volumes, 30 books. Written by Tachibana Chikage. Published in 1800 ( Kansei 12 ). Published from 1796 ( Kansei 8 ) to 1812 ( Bunka 9 ). Citing the theories of his teacher Kamo no Mabuchi, as well as predecessors such as Motoori Norinaga and Keichu, the book provides simple commentary on all volumes and was widely circulated as a simple introductory book. 江戸後期の、「万葉集」の注釈書。二〇巻三〇冊。橘千蔭著。寛政一二年(一八〇〇)成立。寛政八年(一七九六)から文化九年(一八一二)刊。師賀茂真淵はじめ本居宣長、契沖など先人の説を引用しながら全巻に簡略な注解をしており、簡便な入門書として広く流布した。
