A feudal lord in the early modern period. He is said to have lived in Katsumata-go in Totomi Province and ruled over Uchida-go. He originally served the Imagawa clan, and later belonged to Tokugawa Ieyasu. In 1639 (Kan'ei 16) during the time of Masanobu, his fief was increased to 10,000 koku. He was later given an additional 5,000 koku, and his jin'ya was set up in Kanuma, Shimotsuke. In 1651 (Keian 4), Masanobu committed suicide to follow Iemitsu. In 1799 (Genroku 12), he was given 2,000 koku. In 1724 (Kyoho 9) during the time of Masayuki, his fief was reduced by 3,000 koku, leaving him with 10,000 koku. He moved his jin'ya to Omigawa in Shimousa, and thereafter continued until the end of the Edo period. He became a viscount after the Meiji Restoration.
