Marshallian k - Marshallian k

Japanese: マーシャルのk - マーシャルのケー(英語表記)Marshallian k
Marshallian k - Marshallian k
The ratio of a country's money supply to its nominal national income. Households and companies hold a portion of their income in the form of currency to facilitate transactions. This ratio is thought to depend on the returns that can be obtained from investments in assets other than currency, as well as the systems and practices regarding the use of currency (such as the use of credit and the frequency of wage payments), but it is called Marshall's k after A. Marshall's book Money, Credit and Commerce (1923), which was the first to clearly describe this point.
