A Kabuki actor. There are three generations, but the first is the most famous. [Yukio Hattori] First World(1722-62) was born in Fushimi, Kyoto, the son of a samurai. He made his debut as a child actor in a play in Kyoto in 1733 (Kyoho 18). In February 1741 (Kanpo 1), he went to Edo as a wakashugata (young man actor) and played the role of Kumenosuke in "Kouya Shinju." It is well known that the cobblestone pattern he used on his costume became popular under the name "ichimatsuzome" (checkered dye). In 1754 (Horeki 4), he switched to playing young female roles, and by 1762 he had risen to the position of representative young female actors in Edo, but died the same year. He was a man of great beauty, and was particularly good at domestic roles. [Yukio Hattori] II(1747-1785) A disciple of Ichimura Uzaemon VIII. He played the roles of young men and women, but later switched to acting as a swindler. The third was the former name of the first Ichikawa Aragoro.
