Mr. Mac - Macshi (English spelling) Mac

A clan that usurped the Le Dynasty in Vietnam in the 16th century, ushering in a period of great division in Vietnam (1527-1786). The Mac clan is said to have had a Chinese ancestor, and had been fishermen for generations. During the reign of Mac Dang Dung, they served the Le Dynasty as military officers, and took advantage of the chaos in the imperial court to gain power. In 1527, they blackmailed Emperor Le and seized the throne. However, warlords in various regions did not recognize this, and the whole country fell into a state of civil war. Among them, Nguyen Kim, who supported Le Trang Thong, opposed the Mac clan from Nghe An and Thanh Hoa in Laos.

16世紀，ベトナムのレ(黎)朝を簒奪し，ベトナムの大分裂期(1527‐1786)をもたらした一族。マク(莫（ばく）)氏の祖は中国人といわれ，代々漁を業としていたが，マク･ダン･ズンMac Dang Dung(莫登庸（ばくとうよう）)の時，武官としてレ朝に仕え，宮廷の混乱を利して実力を得，1527年レ帝に強請して帝位を奪った。しかし各地の軍閥はこれを認めず，全土が内乱状況になった。中でもレ･チャントン(黎荘宗)を擁するグエン･キム(阮淦)は，ラオスからゲアン，タインホアに拠って，マク氏に対抗した。
