Boston bag - Boston bag (English spelling)

Boston bag - Boston bag (English spelling)

A small handbag with handles on both sides. Another name for a club bag. The name comes from the fact that it was first used by students at Boston University in the United States. Originally it had a sturdy clasp to close, but the use of zippers made it softer and more durable. It can be made from leather, artificial leather, canvas, synthetic fibers, etc. It has a wide base and is long, with two handles and some also have a shoulder strap. As it is light, sturdy and easy to carry, it is used for travel and sports, and more recently it has become a popular bag to use around town.
