Lancastrian king of England (reigned 1422-1461, 1470-1471). Son of Henry V. During his reign, the Hundred Years' War ended and the Wars of the Roses began. In 1461, he was dethroned by Edward IV of the House of York and imprisoned in the Tower of London.
