lamb's-quarters

...The name Akaza comes from the fact that the bud centers and young stems and leaves are red. The less conspicuously reddish Chenopodium album L. (English name: lamb's-quarters) is a weed that grows in fields and wastelands, and is known as a nitrogen-loving plant. The stems are well-branched, and well-grown ones can reach over 1.5m in height.
