A Greek grammarian from the second half of the 2nd century. Born in Alexandria. Son of Apollonius Dyscolos. Author of Katholikē Prosōidia (21 volumes), which studies the accents of Greek words, covering about 60,000 words. His theory was inherited by Byzantine grammarians and is still followed today.
