A Jewish social democratic organization in the former Russian Empire. Its official name was the General Union of Jewish Workers in Lithuania, Poland, and Russia. It was founded in Vilnius in 1897 and was initially based in Lithuania and Belarus. After the Russian Revolution, the organizations in the Soviet territories were suppressed or merged with the Communist Party and disappeared by the early 1920s.
