A Jewish social democratic organization in the former Russian Empire. Its official name was the General Union of Jewish Workers in Lithuania, Poland, and Russia. It was founded in Vilnius in 1897 and was initially based in Lithuania and Belarus. After the Russian Revolution, the organizations in the Soviet territories were suppressed or merged with the Communist Party and disappeared by the early 1920s. 旧ロシア帝国内のユダヤ人社会民主主義組織。正式名称〈在リトアニア・ポーランド・ロシア・ユダヤ人労働者総同盟Allgemeiner Yiddisher Arbeterbund in Lite,Poilen un Russland〉。1897年ビルニュスで創立され,当初リトアニア,白ロシア(ベロルシア)地方を主たる地盤とした。ロシア革命後ソビエト領の組織は1920年代初めまでに弾圧されるか共産党に合流するかして消滅した。
