This waterfall is located near the entrance to Futakuchi Gorge in the upper reaches of the Natori River in the western part of Sendai City, central Miyagi Prefecture. It was designated a Place of Scenic Beauty in 1942. It is 55m high and about 6m wide. It is located in the grounds of the Otaki Fudo Hall of the inner sanctuary of Risshakuji Temple in the Yamadera district of Yamagata City, which borders it to the west, and is also called Fudo Falls. 宮城県中部,仙台市西部,名取川上流の二口峡谷入口付近にある滝。 1942年名勝に指定。高さ 55m,幅約 6mの滝。西に接する山形市山寺地区にある立石寺 (りっしゃくじ) の奥の院の大滝不動堂の境内にあり,不動の滝とも呼ばれる。二口峡谷県立自然公園に属する。
