Ikueyama

...After World War II, most of the former district was merged into Fukui City, and only Miyama Town remains today. The group of ancient tombs on Mount Asuwa, formerly called Mount Ikue, are believed to be the graves of the Ikue and Asuwa clans, including Asuwa County's Dairyo Ikue Tojin and Shoryo Asuwa Tsukamaro, who donated Chimori Manor to Todaiji Temple in ancient times. Asuwa Shrine on the mountain enshrines nine gods, including Emperor Keitai.
