Fabricius
German theologian and astronomer. In 1596, he discovered a variable star in the constellation Cetus, which he named Mira. He was a friend of Tycho Brahe and Kepler.

Fabricius

German astronomer. Son of D. Fabricius. In 1610, he discovered sunspots independently of Galileo, and in 1611 reported that they move.
