Born on January 6, 8th year of the Guangxu era. Joined the China Mengxi Association while studying at the Japanese Military Academy. After returning to China, he became Chief of Staff of the Jiangxi Governor's Office during the Xinhai Revolution of 1911. After being defeated in the Second Revolution of 1913, he fled to Japan. Later, he cooperated with the military governments of Sun Yat-sen and Feng Yuxiang. Died on February 20th, 1946, aged 65. Born in Jiangxi Province. His pen name was Xiehe.
