Lee Yeol-kun

Japanese: 李烈鈞 - りれつきん

1882-1946 Chinese soldier and politician.
Born on January 6, 8th year of the Guangxu era. Joined the China Mengxi Association while studying at the Japanese Military Academy. After returning to China, he became Chief of Staff of the Jiangxi Governor's Office during the Xinhai Revolution of 1911. After being defeated in the Second Revolution of 1913, he fled to Japan. Later, he cooperated with the military governments of Sun Yat-sen and Feng Yuxiang. Died on February 20th, 1946, aged 65. Born in Jiangxi Province. His pen name was Xiehe.

光緒8年1月6日生まれ。日本の陸軍士官学校に留学中,中国同盟会にくわわる。帰国後,1911年の辛亥(しんがい)革命で江西都督府参謀長となる。1913年第二革命で敗れて日本に亡命。のち孫文,馮玉祥(ふう-ぎょくしょう)の軍政府に協力した。1946年2月20日死去。65歳。江西省出身。字(あざな)は協和。
