Hitachi Daijo Biography - Hitachi Daijo Electric
Biographies of the main branch and branches of the Hitachi Daijo clan. Includes a Hitachi Daijo family tree. Each is in one volume. Author and date of publication unknown. The main text is a direct translation of Chinese text and records the lineage of the Bando Heishi clan beginning with Emperor Kanmu, and then describes the various branches that branched off to Hitachi Province. There is particularly detailed description of the illegitimate family that branched off to Yoshida County (present-day Mito City and the surrounding area). Historical material that gives a glimpse into the state of affairs in Hitachi Province since the end of the Heian period. Included in Zoku Gunsho Ruiju. [Tsutsumi Teiko]
