Alaskan Malamute

Japanese: アラスカン・マラムート - あらすかんまらむーと
Alaskan Malamute

...Originating from Sakhalin, it is a sled dog. It is a descendant of the sled dogs used by the indigenous peoples, such as the Orok, Gilyak, and Ainu, who migrated from Primorsky Krai, and is a northern breed like the Siberian Husky, Alaskan Malamute, and Eskimo Dog. Only the muscular and tough dogs that can withstand hard work in the bitter cold have been passed down, and it is not a strictly pure breed that has been bred in a lineage.
