Natural arsenic and minerals that have arsenic as their main chemical component. There are elemental minerals, sulfide minerals formed by hydrothermal action, sulfide minerals and salt minerals formed by low-temperature and low-pressure hydrothermal action, and in hot springs and cold springs, as well as oxide minerals and salt minerals formed as secondary minerals by the oxidation of sulfide minerals. When occurring as elemental minerals, they can form solid solutions with natural antimony. Some sulfide minerals are sometimes used as sources of arsenic. The major minerals are classified as shown in the table below.

自然ヒ素，およびヒ素を主要な化学成分にもつ鉱物。元素鉱物，熱水作用により生成する硫化鉱物，さらに低温低圧の熱水作用により，また温泉，冷泉において生成する硫化鉱物および塩類鉱物，また硫化鉱物の酸化作用により二次鉱物として生成する酸化鉱物，塩類鉱物などが存在する。元素鉱物として産出する場合は自然アンチモンとの間に固溶体を形成することもある。硫化鉱物の一部はヒ素原料として利用されることがある。主要な鉱物を分類して表に示す。
