Meso-climate - Middle climate

Climates with a medium extent, such as urban climates, basin climates, and winds in the Kanto Plain. Used for macroclimates, microclimates, and microclimates. Horizontal extent is 10 to 200 km, vertical extent is about 1 to 6,000 m. The main climatic factors are mesoscale topography, mesoscale heat sources, cold sources, mesoscale weather phenomena such as torrential rain, and mesoscale local circulation such as mountain-valley breezes, land and sea breezes, and air currents over mountains. 都市気候，盆地の気候，関東平野の風などのような中程度の広がりをもつ気候。大気候，小気候，微気候に対して用いる。水平の広がりは10〜200km，垂直の広がりは１〜6000m程度。主な気候因子は，中規模の地形，中規模の熱源，冷源，集中豪雨などの中規模気象現象，中規模の山谷風，海陸風，山越え気流などの局地循環。
