Bellonci, G. (English spelling) BellonciG

…the general term for a group of neurosecretory cells found in the anterior half of the brain of crustaceans. Its existence was pointed out by G. Bellonci in 1882, and it was named the X organ because its function is unknown. Its characteristics vary depending on the species.
