Clitoris - Inkling

It surrounds the front edge of the narrow slit in the female vulva (external genitalia), i.e. the vulvar cleft, and corresponds to the male penis. The small, cylindrical clitoral crus (corpora cavernosa), 3-4 cm long, are attached to the left and right pubic rami and join at the front to form an inverted V shape. The tip is the clitoral body, the tip of which becomes the small protuberance called the clitoral glans, the outer surface of which is covered by the clitoral hood, and is distributed with many sensory nerve endings. The clitoral hood also contains mucous glands and sebaceous glands. Sexual arousal causes the clitoris to become erect by engorging the cavernous tissue.

女性外陰部（外生殖器）の細い割れ目、すなわち陰裂の前縁を囲む位置にあり、男性の陰茎に相当する。左右の恥骨下枝にそれぞれ付着する、長さ3～4センチメートルの小円柱状の陰核脚（陰核海綿体）が前方で合して逆V字形をつくる。先端部は陰核体で、その先端は小隆起の陰核亀頭(きとう)となり、この部分の外面は陰核包皮に覆われているが、知覚性神経終末が多く分布している。陰核包皮には粘液腺(せん)、脂腺もある。陰核は性的興奮によって海綿体組織の充血を生じ、勃起(ぼっき)する。
