The climate of a small area such as the edge of a field, a rice paddy, in front of or behind a forest, on the slope of a hill, or inside a room. Used for macroclimates, mesoclimates, and microclimates. The horizontal extent is about 1cm to 100m, and the vertical extent is about 1cm to 2m. The main climatic factors are the state of the earth's surface (differences in land objects and vegetation cover, etc.) and the short-term exchange of heat with the outside world. While microclimate deals with atmospheric phenomena over a certain time span, it is called micrometeorology when dealing with phenomena at a certain point in time.
