A mountain on the border between Yuzawa City, Akita Prefecture and Shinjo City/Kanayama Town, Mogami District, Yamagata Prefecture. It is 1,365 meters above sea level. It is the main peak of the Kamuro Mountains and is known as the "Little Alps of Michinoku." The foot of the mountain is a primeval beech forest. It is known as a mountain of mountain worship.
