A multiplex communication method in which voice is modulated with different carrier waves to obtain single sidebands, which are then arranged on the frequency axis so that they do not overlap with each other and transmitted along the transmission path. When receiving, the reverse operation is performed to demodulate the voice. This makes it possible for multiple simultaneous communications to be made over a single transmission path. Due to the difficulty of making filters, etc., a method of bundling multiple communication paths and increasing the degree of multiplexing through group modulation is used.
