This is a typical example of an online system. Bank deposit accounts are centralized in a computer file device installed in the bank's calculation center, and accounts are managed by equipping each branch with a terminal device for managing deposits and withdrawals. This allows depositors to make deposits and withdrawals at any branch of the same bank, and deposits and remittances are now carried out on the same system. Furthermore, customer service has been improved and banking operations have been streamlined, with integrated accounts being created by integrating fixed term accounts and ordinary accounts, and automated teller machines and automated payment machines being used to streamline counter operations.

オンラインシステムの代表的なものである。銀行の預金口座を銀行の計算センターに設けられたコンピューターのファイル装置に集中化し，各支店には入出金管理用の端末装置を配置することによって口座を管理する。これによって預金者は同一の銀行の支店であればどこからでも入出金ができるようになり，また預金と送金は同一のシステムで行われるようになった。さらに定期口座と普通口座の一体運用による総合口座化，自動預入機，自動支払機などによる窓口業務の省力化など，顧客サービスの充実と銀行業務の省力化が行われている。
