The title of a job in the Edo Shogunate. A group of foot soldiers who accompanied the shogun when he went out, and served as the vanguard, consisted of 10 groups of 20 men each, and were divided into four groups: the main group, the attendant group, the attendant group, the attendant group, the attendant group, and the attendant group. They were under the control of the young elders and their quarters were in the Hinoki room. 江戸幕府の職名。将軍外出の際に扈従 (こしょう) して前駆をつとめた足軽の組で,1組 20人,10組から成り,小十人頭の指揮下に,本番,御供番,詰番,御供加番の4手に分れた。若年寄支配,詰所は檜の間であった。
