A mammal of the bovidae family in the order Artiodactyla. Classified between the Capra and Ovis genuses. Inhabits the alpine zone from the Himalayan region to Inner Mongolia. Body length 115-165cm, tail length 10-20cm, shoulder height 75-91cm, weight 25-80kg. The body is robust like a wild sheep, with thick and short limbs. Also like sheep, it has no beard and does not emit a foul odor. However, both sexes have horns, and the males' horns are large, reaching 82cm in length, and the cross section at the base is almost quadrilateral or circular, and they lack parotid glands, making them similar to goats.
