Palladianism - Palladianism

Japanese: パラディオ主義 - パラディオしゅぎ（英語表記）Palladianism

It refers to the movement or tendency to emulate the style of Renaissance architect Palladio through his Four Books of Architecture (1570) or directly influenced by his works. Palladio's theories and techniques were seemingly simple, his works were seen as realistic models that corresponded to certain typical conditions, and his open spatial concept was so appealing that he spawned imitators and followers throughout Europe. Among the most famous are Scamozzi, who reigned over the architectural world in the Veneto region after Palladio's death, and Inigo Jones, the father of modern British architecture.
