Naomasa Harada

Japanese: 原田直政 - はらだなおまさ

?-1576 A military commander from the Sengoku to Oda-Toyotomi period.
He served Oda Nobunaga. In 1572 he became the guardian of Yamashiro, and in 1573 he also became the guardian of Yamato, and was given the surname Harada. In 1574 he joined Akechi Mitsuhide and others in the attack on Ishiyama Honganji Temple in Osaka, but was killed in battle on May 3 at Mitsudera in Settsu (Osaka Prefecture). His real surname was Ban. His first name was Shigetomo. He was commonly known as Kurozaemon. His other name was Nagatoshi.

織田信長につかえる。天正(てんしょう)2年山城守護となり,3年大和守護をかね,原田姓をあたえられた。4年大坂石山本願寺攻めに明智光秀らとくわわったが,5月3日摂津三津寺(みつでら)(大阪府)で戦死した。本姓は塙(ばん)。初名は重友。通称は九郎左衛門。別名に長俊。
