A shallow vessel like a plate placed on a pedestal. A tsuki is a vessel with a relatively low rim. Some Hajiki high cups excavated from Heijo Palace have ink inscriptions reading "takasara" and "takasara." In ancient China, high-cup shaped wooden products were called "tou" and bamboo products were called "hen." However, in Chinese archaeology, high cups made of earthenware and bronze are also called "mame." In Japan, they are found in late and final Jomon earthenware, but in the Yayoi period they developed into wooden vessels, and from the middle period they became popular as earthenware.
