…The book of the laws of the Kingdom of Sicily, enacted in 1231 by Holy Roman Emperor Frederick II (1194-1250) at Melfi in southern Italy. It is also called the Imperial Book. Frederick II was born to Emperor Henry VI and the Norman Sicilian princess Constance.
