A 9th century Indian philosopher who wrote commentaries on important treatises from the orthodox Brahmin schools of Indian philosophy, such as the Nyaya-Bharttika Tātpariya-Tīkā, a commentary on the Nyaya-Bharttika, a treatise from the Nyaya school, and the Samkhya-Tattva-Kaumudi, a commentary on the Samkhya-Kālika, a treatise from the Samkhya school.
