Cliffs of the Île-de-France - Cliffs of the Île-de-France

The capital is Troyes. The region is made up of three concentric zones, like a fan, with Paris at its center. The inner zone is the hilly region of the Cliffs of the Île-de-France, the central zone is the plateau of the dry (barren) Champagne, and the outer zone is the lowland of the wet Champagne. The region is a cuesta, so between the dry and wet Champagne zones is the Cliffs of the Côte de Champagne, and outside the wet Champagne zone, the Cliffs of the Meuse cut into the Lorraine side, and the Cliffs of the Bar cut into the Burgundy side.
