〘Noun〙 A disease that affects a wide variety of plants, including grapes, peaches, figs, strawberries, dahlias, roses, cyclamen, lettuce, hemp, and others. In most cases, it causes green-brown or brown lesions, which then turn into gray mold with basidiophores and conidia. It is caused by the fungus Botrytis cinerea. It is also called botrytis disease. 〘名〙 ブドウ、モモ、イチジク、イチゴ、ダリア、バラ、シクラメン、レタス、アサ、その他極めて広範な植物を侵す病気。多くは緑褐色ないし褐色の病斑をつくり、やがて担子柄と分生胞子をもった灰色の黴を生じる。ボトリチス‐シネレア菌の寄生によって起きる。ボトリチス病ともいう。
