A shamisen player of Gidayu-bushi. (1) First Generation (1860-1936, Man'en 1-Showa 11). Real name Kono Fukumatsu. Born in Osaka. A disciple of Nozawa Kihachiro 6th. (2) Second Generation (1891-1976, Meiji 24-Showa 51). Real name Kato Zen'ichi. Born in Kobe. Became a disciple of the first generation at the age of 11, took the name Nozawa Katsuhei, and later became a disciple of Tsuruzawa Kanjiro 2nd. In 1942, he took the name of the second generation, and joined the Mitsuwa-kai when the two Bunraku schools split, and became the supporting shamisen player for Toyotake Tsubamedayu 3rd (Takemoto Koshijidayu 4th), mentoring and helping him to perfection. 義太夫節の三味線奏者。(1)初世(1860‐1936∥万延1‐昭和11) 本名河野福松。大坂出身。6世野沢喜八郎の門。(2)2世(1891‐1976∥明治24‐昭和51) 本名加藤善一。神戸市出身。11歳で初世に入門,野沢勝平を名のり,後に2世鶴沢寛治郎の預り弟子となる。1942年2世を襲名,文楽2派分裂で三和会(みつわかい)に参加,3世豊竹つばめ太夫(4世竹本越路太夫)の相三味線となり薫陶,大成させた。
